OKI extends print support services contract with Capita Managed IT Solutions


(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) OKI, one of the UK's leading business-to-business printer brands, has extended its print support services contract with Capita Managed IT Solutions for three years and now includes the Republic of Ireland.



Capita will provide field services to Great Britain and Ireland for OKI, including a break/fix printer warranty, and managed print service calls. Additional services under the new contract will include audits, installations, end-user training and the roll-out of projects.

The new contract will ensure OKI's clients receive a swift and timely response from printer engineers with the right skills and knowledge to be able to resolve issues efficiently and effectively. Capita's scale means OKI's clients will be able to benefit from a consistently reliable availability of printer services.


This partnership supports OKI's global strategy to outsource support and logistics wherever possible, to help it reduce costs, maintain efficiency and focus on increasing its sales and market share. The extension follows an existing contract which was signed in August 2011.
