Teledata ICT of Ghana Using VocalTec's Essentra BAX VoIP Application Server

Ghana-based ISP Teledata ICT has reportedly selected VocalTec's Class-5 VoIP solution, which the company introduced earlier this year, for the delivery of advanced hosted PBX services.



VocalTec (News - Alert) Communications is a global provider of carrier-class multimedia and VoIP solutions for service providers.

More specifically, Teledata ICT is deploying VocalTec's Essentra BAX VoIP Application Server to bring reliable IP telephony and advanced features such as click-to-dial, attendant console and auto-attendant to businesses.

Companies worldwide are ditching their traditional phone service and switching to VoIP, not only to reduce their telecommunications costs, but also to take advantage of VoIP’s productivity-enhancing features and capabilities.

"Implementing VocalTec's IP-Centrex solution allows us to manage and deliver feature-rich communication services," said Gregory EID, MD at Teledata ICT, in a release. "Our customers can quickly and efficiently migrate their telephony services to VoIP while delegating the responsibility of service delivery to our teams. They can start enjoying hassle-free telephony services from day one.”

VocalTec made news earlier this month when it announced that it had teamed up with Runcom (News - Alert) Technologies to introduce an integrated WiMAX VoIP solution.
